The start of a new school year is always an exciting time for both parents and children. The children get to see friends they may not have seen throughout the summer and parents get to reconnect too.
Here are a few reminders to help keep everyone healthy & safe.
- Walk to school
- Use the crosswalks in front of the school
- Do not park your car in the No Parking and No Stopping zones around the school (Read more)
- Call the office if you child will be absent
- All visitors must check in at the office
- Please drop off forgotten items to the office, not to the playground during recess or lunch
- Do not send snacks or lunch foods containing peanuts (Read more)

Meet the Teacher & Curriculum Night |
|
| |
Thursday, September 25th, is Meet the Teacher Night. This is a chance for the staff to meet informally with the parents of our students and for parents to have a chance to visit their child's classroom. There will be a formal presentation made in the classroom and the teachers will have curriculum-related handouts available for parents.
This is NOT an interview night.
Plan to stop by the Scholastic Book Fair that evening. |

School Year Expenses

The staff have put together an estimate of expenses for the year by grades. Details.
The school also budgets for a Benevolent Fund through the school fundraising program—this year the magazine campaign. These funds are available through the principal (confidentially) to help families in need, especially if they have 2 or 3 students in the school.
